RTA launches mobile fare app, your farecard is as close as your phone

RTA today launched a new way for riders to pay for transit fares. The RTA CLE app for mobile ticketing lets riders skip the lines and pay from their phones.

Buses will use Superior Avenue on Public Square after Aug. 1

Although the original plan was to resume RTA bus service on Superior Avenue through Public Square on Aug. 1, the City of Cleveland and RTA are in discussions regarding when and if the buses will be allowed to use the designed, exclusive transit lanes.
