WinterWonderCleveland
Cleveland’s first pop up Instagram museum featuring ten rooms of interactive artwork sure to make you the next insta-celeb. So grab your friends and take some holiday themed selfies. Instagram boyfriends are not required, they’ll even have tri-pods to mount your phone for the perfect shot. The museum is at Ingenuity Labs of the Hamilton Collaborative from Nov. 29 to Jan.19. Get there using #1 St. Clair to E. 53rd St.
Downtown Highlights Walking Tour
Take a stroll down historic Euclid Avenue while learning fun Christmas facts about Cleveland and exploring the rich history of our city. Reservations are required so don’t miss out! Tours start at Public Square and run from Dec. 1-29. Get there by taking any Rapid line to Tower City.
Festival of Trees
Some of the best holiday decorations in Cleveland are in the Allen Theatre lobby. The Festival of Trees showcases local artists and choirs, and a special appearance from Santa himself! Open from Nov. 26 until Dec. 23. Get there by taking the HealthLine to E. 14th St. or the E Line or C Line Trolleys.
Kringle’s Inventionasium Experience
You don’t need a ticket to the North Pole just to see Santa. Take any rapid line and you can get there, too! Located in Tower City, Kringle’s Inventionasium is an immersive and interactive experience for kids to help test toys in Santa’s workshop and help create toys in the “secret invention lab”. Available by reservation from Nov. 29 until Dec. 24. Get there by taking any Rapid line to Tower City.
Lake Effects Holiday Pop Up Bar
Who doesn’t love a good theme bar? For the second year, Lake Effects Holiday Pop Up Bar will open on the corner of Euclid and E. 9th St. in the Kimpton-Schofield hotel. Taste some of the holiday themed beverages and set your Instagram up with great tinsel-y shots. #nofilter needed. Get there by taking the HealthLine to E. 9th St. or the E Line or C Line Trolley.
The Naughty List
Don’t stay on the Naughty List forever! Bring your coworkers, friends, or family to this Christmas themed escape room in Ohio City and finish the day on the Nice List! Nov. 26-Dec. 31. Get there by taking the Red Line to W. 25-Ohio City stop or any of the Ohio City Connector buses down W. 25th St.
Original BYOB Holiday Lights Trolley
The 6th annual BYOB tour of holiday lights kicks off on Dec. 1 at Jukebox in Hingetown. Check out light displays in Tremont and Downtown with the opportunity to hop on and off the trolley for photo opps. Tickets sell out fast, but are tours run through Dec. 29. Get there using #26 Detroit to W. 29th St.
Uptown Winterfest
Celebrate the spirit of the season with free events in Uptown for Winterfest! Enjoy s’mores, ice carving demonstrations, gingerbread house decorating and more! Get there by using the HealthLine to Cornell stop or the Red Line to Little Italy-University Circle station.
Holidazzle Holiday Market
Shop for handmade and locally sourced gifts for Christmas at the new Van Aken Market Hall. Have you been to this new shopping development? Wow! Dec. 7-14. Get there using the Blue Line to Van Aken-Warrensville stop.
Light Up Lakewood
For 13 years, Light Up Lakewood has brought a family-friendly celebration to the near-west side. With a parade, tree lighting ceremony, winter fireworks and live music, what’s not to love? Dec. 7 at 4 p.m. Get there using the #26 Detroit.
Holiday Circlefest
Experience Cleveland’s cultural treasures at the annual holiday Circlefest in University Circle! Dec. 8 there will be horse-drawn carriage rides, live music, photos with Santa and more. And don’t forget there’s the Rink at Wade Oval, in case you feel like practicing your triple axel. Get there by using the HealthLine to the Museum stop or the Red Line to Little Italy-University Circle station.
Cleveland Bazaar Holiday!
Looking for a unique gift for friends or family? The 78th Street Studios have gathered artists from across Northeast Ohio to sell their amazing work during the Holiday Bazaar. Admission is free, and so is browsing! Stop by on Dec. 14. Get there by using the #26 Detroit to W. 79th St.
Wintertide
Wintertide is a free arts-infused festival in the Gordon Square neighborhood on Dec. 14. Fire pits, beer gardens, and pop-up performances will have you in the spirit all day long! Get there by using the #26 Detroit to W. 65th St.
Winter Wonder Days
As winter break drags on and the kids start getting restless, stop by Winter Wonder Days at the Great Lakes Science Center where the forecast is 100% fun. Dec. 26-29. Get there by using the Waterfront Line to the E. 9th-North Coast station.
