Fresh Fest Cleveland is back in 2021! This free festival is hosted in the Urban Agriculture Innovation Zone on Rid-All Farm and Otter Park. The mission of Fresh Fest Cleveland is to celebrate arts and urban agriculture, promote health and wellness, showcase fresh and local food, and break down barriers of the neighborhood while emphasizing unity. Fresh Fest Cleveland is the result of a five year project with foundations and partners and supported by vendors, entrepreneurs and community resources. This event first began in 2019, and after a brief hiatus due to COVID-19, is back and better than ever!
On Saturday, September 11 from 12:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m., visitors to the festival will be treated to local and nationally acclaimed musical performances, health and wellness meditation stations, Kiddie Zone, a farmer’s market, art and more.
RTA’s Transit Police will be on site from 12:00 until 4:00 p.m. with the Operation KidWatch trailer. Operation KidWatch is a free service provided to the community by our department, making child identification kits for families. These free IDs have information on the child with an updated picture and fingerprint in the event that an emergency arises and this information is needed. Transit Police do not keep any of this information on file.
For those looking to experience community and support local entrepreneurs, stop down to Fresh Fest Cleveland on Saturday and expose yourself to all kinds of creative spaces! It’s a fun and family friendly event that will hopefully continue for years to come!
