2022 DEI Champion

A Leader in DEI Initiatives

A Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) Champion is a person within the agency who actively supports DEI in the workplace, an individual who puts ideas into motion, which, in turn, puts talk into action. For 2022, this honor goes to Teresa Muti, Director of Power and Way. Teresa and her team averaged a total of 50 employees at every DEI Learning Series. The DEI Learning Series, which started in August 2022, is a five-part workshop on understanding why diversity matters at GCRTA. She is also recognized as a founding leader of Elevating Women Together (EWT), an employee resource group. We appreciate and celebrate Teresa’s unwavering leadership and support for DEI initiatives.
