Red Line trains will operate on a 30-minute frequency east of Tower City from 5:50 p.m. to the close of service each weekday.
During this period, eastbound trains will depart Tower City at :20 and :50 after the hour, and westbound trains will depart Stokes-Windermere at :21 and :51 after the hour. This change in frequency allows RTA to perform single-track operations between Cedar-University and Stokes-Windermere stations for maintenance work.
Delays may occur throughout the Red Line in both directions. West of Tower City, Red Line service will continue to operate on its regular 15-minute frequency.
