Beginning Monday, September 23, 2024, and until further notice, Red Line trains will operate on a 30-minute frequency east of Tower City from 5:50 p.m. until the close of service on weekdays (Monday–Friday).
During this period, eastbound trains will depart Tower City at :20 and :50 past the hour, and westbound trains will depart Stokes-Windermere at :21 and :51 past the hour. This change in frequency allows GCRTA to perform single-track operations for maintenance work.
Delays may occur throughout the Red Line in both directions.
West of Tower City, Red Line service will continue to operate on its regular 15-minute frequency.
