Saturday, February 15 through Sunday, February 16, 2025, Red, Blue & Green Line rail services between the Tower City and East 55th St. stations will be replaced with #66R and #67R buses to facilitate signal testing for the Tower City East Portals project.
Red Line trains will operate between Stokes-Windermere and East 55th Station and between Tower City and Airport. Replacement bus service (#66R) will fill the gap between Tower City and East 55th Station. Red Line passengers can ride either #66R or #67R buses between those two stations but must read the destination sign when boarding at E. 55th St. Station.
Blue and Green Line trains will not operate. Replacement bus service (#67R) will operate between Tower City and Green Road Station and between Tower City and Warrensville-Van Aken Station. Both branches of the #67R will serve East 55th Station to help passengers who usually transfer there.
#66R and #67R buses will not stop at the Tri-C-Campus District Station. Riders wishing to access this station can use the #15 Union-Harvard or #19/19A/19B – Broadway bus lines.
The Tower City stop is located on W. Prospect at W. 3rd St. Please look for the special orange #66R and #67R bus stop signs to board the rail replacement buses.
NO RTA SERVICE TO WATERFRONT STATIONS FEBRUARY 15-16, 2025.
The #66R and #67R buses will operate the same hours and frequency as the Red, Blue, and Green
train lines during this shutdown.
TOWER CITY OPERATIONS TO CHANGE ON MONDAY, FEBRUARY 17, 2025.
Eastbound rail service returns to normal Monday, February 17, 2025, while westbound Red, Blue, and Green Line trains will start using the Track 7 platform at Tower City. The elevator and stairway leading to Track 7 can be found on the Public Square Level (M2) of Tower City Center.
