Sunday, July 7 through Saturday, August 3, 2024, Blue & Green Line rail service east of Tower City will be replaced with 67R buses for four (4) weeks.
The 67R buses will not stop at the E.55th or Tri-C-Campus District stations. Riders wishing to access these stations can use the Red Line. There are 67R stops at Woodland-E.55th and Woodland-E.79th. The stop for Tower City is located on W. Prospect at W. 3rd St. Please look for the special orange 67R bus stop signs along the route to board the replacement bus.
67R buses will operate at a 15-minute frequency during weekday rush periods, and a 30-minute frequency all other times.
67R buses will follow a special alignment during this shutdown, operating to/from Green Road via Van Aken Blvd. and Warrensville Center Road. See the map below for details.
Regular Blue & Green Line rail service will resume with the start of service on Sunday, August 4, 2024.
GCRTA Engineering projects during this four-week shutdown will consist of E.75th interlocking and Warrensville Bridge work. Power & Way maintenance work during this four-week shutdown will consist of overhead Catenary System (OCS) work at Shaker Junction, overhead Power disconnect switch upgrades, replacement of suspension collars for OCS along all lines, utility Line maintenance at Warrensville Green Line Station, switch tie renewal and replacement at Eaton Station, pedestrian crosswalk repairs, and tie replacement from Warrensville Station to Green Rd. Station.
