Artist: Derek Brennan & Chad Fedorovich Title: Elevate the East - Woodhill Mural Located on GCRTA’s 700ft wall outside of the Central Bus Maintenance Facility, the mural, a part of the Elevate the East public art plan, depicts the history of the neighborhood, highlighting people, places, and events that are important to the people living in this neighborhood. It is a colorful depiction that chronicles the life of the people who live, lived, grew up, or worked in this area. It allows GCRTA infrastructure to create canvases that celebrate community spirit. Artist: Ron Baron Title: Electricity, Connectivity, Comfort, and Direction This work invites travelers to sit upon furniture-like sculptures. Each sculpture is constructed from vintage suitcases that were molded and cast in bronze.
Artist: Michael Murphy Title: Stephanie Tubbs Jones 8 abstract sheets of various colored metal stand straight up out of a solid granite base. At most angles, this piece looks like a random arrangement of random shapes. However, when viewed directly head-on from either side, a portrait of Stephanie Tubbs Jones appears; black and white on one side and in color on the other.
Artist: Shan Shan Sheng Title: Space, Speed, Time The suspension sculpture is inspired by the railroad track form representing the RTA station. The sculpture draws upon the significant role of rail transportation in American history. The colors of the sculpture are inspired by the changing landscapes and their seasonal variations.

Look into them and see either a scene from the industrial past of the neighborhood or one of the educational institutions present in the area. The words below the cylinders relate to the scene inside them. The red and orange cones illustrate industry while the blue and green relate to educaton. Take a minute and take a peek!

Artist: Jennifer Cecere Title: Chandelier Inspired by a traditional crochet pattern, and fabricated in water jet steel. The artists loved the idea of starting something intimate and making it public. This suspended sculpture won a national competition.
Artist: Suzie Fraizer Title: Flusso This paving pattern is based on the flowing patterns created by schools of fish or flocks of birds. Frazier was inspired by the similarities among pedestrians in transit stations and the “swarm” behavior of creatures in nature.
Artist: Greg Aliberti Title: EcoVillage Mural This ceramic tile mural represents different components of the Northeast Ohio ecosystem and the values of the EcoVillage district.
Artist: Greg Aliberti Title: Strive for Harmony This mural’s specific subject matter aims to amplify this neighborhood's resolve to embrace green principals and hopes to act as a example to those who view it on what it means to live sustainably in an urban environment.
Artist: Carey Tucker Title: W117 Station Mural These landscapes were created from glass enamels fused onto steel. They depict the feeling of the countryside that surrounds the artist's studio in Ohio. The works have a rich, tactile surface that needs no protection and is easily cleaned. All the enameled landscape were created using the large scale enamel kiln at Kent State University.
Artist: Brinsley Tyrrell Title: Ohio Lands Forever Painted with fat, juicy brushstrokes that gleam with the radiance of wet, freshly applied oil paint, Tyrrell's images portray Ohio as an elemental landscape of forests, plowed fields and rushing streams.
Artist: Joe Samm Title: 3D Figure Various sculptures represent various elements of the human experience. Each sculpture references activity and movement as a subtle nod to transit.
Artist: Angelica Pozo Title: Cleveland: Air Laboratory of the World This piece was inspired by Cleveland's proud aviation history as host to the National Air Races from 1929-1949. The wall relief sculptures represent 16 of the more significant planes that participated in these races. The model planes were hand built to scale using accurate model airplane plans from the Cleveland Model & Supply Co. To represent Cleveland's still vital role as an International airport hub, the floor mosaic panels are designed from modern jet airliners.
Artist: Dr. Murphy Ajayi Title: Motion, Cyclones, and the Community This ecclectic tile mosaic celebrates excellence in creativity in all spheres of educational and community empowerment, advancement, and entrepreneurship in the neighborhood and Cleveland areas.
