The RTA Board of Trustees met today. All agenda items were approved.
RTA CEO Joe Calabrese testified today before the Ohio Senate Finance Committee. He urged the committee to support Senator Dolan's proposed amendment that allows for a long-term solution to the loss of the Medicaid sales tax revenue from the state budget.
RTA seeks names of commuters who are interested in a ride-sharing vanpool program that helps those who do not live on a fixed-route service. VanShare is open to drivers and riders who live in Cuyahoga County, or who have a destination in Cuyahoga County.
