CLEVELAND -- The Greater Cleveland Regional Transit Authority (RTA) provides cost-effective transportation to events and activities this weekend -- final season Indians games, Ingenuity Fest, NEOCycle Criterium, and sold-out cruises on the Goodtime III.
Ingenuity Fest
Enjoy a festival of music, art and technology Friday-Sunday, Sept. 26-28. Ingenuity Fest is located at the Cuyahoga County Port Authority, just north of FirstEnergy Stadium and in and around the Great Lakes Science Center and the Rock-and-Roll Hall of Fame and Museum.
Friday, Sept. 26
- Event hours: 5 p.m.-1 a.m.
- Take the B-Line trolley from 5-7 p.m. Exit at Willard Park and walk to the festival.
- Or ride the Waterfront Line. With extended service, the last train leaves the South Harbor Station at 12:05 a.m.
Saturday, Sept. 27
- Event hours: Noon-1 a.m.
- Take the L-Line trolley from 10 a.m.-5:30 p.m. Exit at the Great Lakes Science Center and walk to the festival.
- Or ride the Waterfront Line. With extended service, the last train leaves the South Harbor Station at 12:05 a.m.
Sunday, Sept. 28
- Event hours: Noon-5 p.m.
- Take the L-Line trolley from 10 a.m.-5:30 p.m. Exit at the Great Lakes Science Center and walk to the festival.
- Or ride the Waterfront Line. Service is provided during all festival hours.
Tribe home games
The Indians play their final season home games this weekend, Sept. 26-28. Park free at Rapid Stations, ride the Rapid to the Tower City Station, use the RTA Walkway to reach Progressive Field.
Obey all parking rules. Many lots may fill up quickly. Illegally parked cars may be towed.
NEOCycle Criterium
The NEOCycle Criterium race will take over University Circle with cycling energy on Sunday, Sept. 28 from 8 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. Ride the HealthLine on Euclid Avenue to the Adelbert Road Station, and bike or walk to Wade Oval.
Goodtime III
As part of its centennial anniversary gift, the Cleveland Foundation provided free tickets for all Goodtime III cruises on Sunday, Sept. 28. All cruises are SOLD OUT. There is limited parking nearby. If you secured a ticket for a sold-out cruise, RTA offers you two transportation options:
- Ride the Waterfront Line to the North Coast Station on East Ninth Street, and walk to the dock at Voinovich Bicentennial Park.
- Or, ride the L-Line trolley to the Rock-N-Roll Hall of Fame, and walk to the dock at Voinovich Bicentennial Park. The trolley operates from 10 a.m.-5:30 p.m. If you ride the Rapid in to the Tower City Station, you can board the trolley in front of the Horseshoe Casino.
- Either way, plan to arrive at the boat dock 45-60 minutes prior to your cruise departure time.
