CLEVELAND -- The Greater Cleveland Regional Transit Authority (RTA) is ready to take residents to Public Auditorium on Saturday, Nov. 9, for Healthy Cleveland – Affordable Care.
The event is open from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. at 500 Lakeside Ave. Enter on Lakeside Avenue, across from City Hall.
Your travel options
To reach the event, ride the HealthLine to Public Square, or ride the Rapid to Tower City. Board a free trolley in front of the Horseshoe Casino. Exit on St. Clair Avenue at East 6th Street, and walk one block to the entrance.
Trolley Service: The L-Line trolley operates from 10 a.m.-5:30 p.m. and the C-Line trolley operates from 11 a. m.-11 p.m.
You can also ride the #1 bus from Collinwood to downtown on St. Clair Avenue.
The event will focus on education about the health insurance marketplace – understanding your options and how to enroll. There will be screenings and flu shots. Seniors can learn more about Medicare and Medicaid, and receive a benefits check-up.
Monica Robins of WKYC TV-3 will emcee an opening program that includes Cleveland Mayor Frank Jackson and other city officials.
