CLEVELAND - The Cleveland City Planning Commission will host three community meetings to review planning studies along the East 105th-East 93rd Transportation Corridor.
A transportation and land study will be conducted to identify transportation strategies and treatments to increase economic development, re-establish compact urban land-use patterns, promote healthy living, eliminate safety hazards, and provide a greater variety of transportation options.
The study will likely result in transit-related recommendations, so the Greater Cleveland Regional Transit Authority (RTA) is working with the project team.
Citizens are encouraged to attend the meetings to give feedback, ask questions, and learn how to get involved.
The goal is to reinvest in the community’s redevelopment efforts. One strategy is to connect growing areas with the surrounding neighborhoods to reinvest in key commercial corridors. The meetings are:
- June 21, from 6-8 p.m., Union Branch, Cleveland Public Library, 3463 E. 93rd St., ride 10 or 15 route
- June 22, from 6-8 p.m., Bethany Baptist Church, 1211 E. 105th St., ride 10 or 3 route
- June 23, from 6-8 p.m., Woodhill Community Center, 2491 Baldwin Road, ride 10 or 11 route
