CLEVELAND -- The Greater Cleveland Regional Transit Authority (RTA) can take you to two venues for winter fun.
Jan. 8-17: Keep warm while riding to ice show.
Fifteen shows in nine days -- that's no Mickey Mouse operation. Disney on Ice brings quality family entertainment to Quicken Loans Arena Jan. 8-17.
RTA is the best way for the family to ride. Avoid the winter weather and the high cost of downtown parking. Park for free at any Rapid station, ride into the Tower City Station, and stroll down the heated Walkway, right into your seat. The Walkway opens two hours before every event.
It may be cold outside, but Disney magic is always warm.
Through March 6: First the HeathLine, then the skates
RTA’s HealthLine, which runs 24/7 on Euclid Avenue, is the easiest way to reach the Rink at Wade Oval in University Circle. It’s just a short walk from the HealthLine's Adelbert Road station.
The rink offers low-cost open skating on weekends through March 6, weather permitting. Hours are noon-7 p.m. Saturday and holidays, and noon-5 p.m. Sundays. Learn-to-skate programs are held from noon-1 p.m. Saturdays. The rink can be rented for special events.
