CLEVELAND -- The Greater Cleveland Regional Transit Authority (RTA) is getting ready for the Republican National Convention here July 18-22. RTA is introducing the first of 12 new trolleys that are being added to the fleet to better serve the increased demand next summer. The first new trolley will be in service later this month.

WHERE: Pickwick and Frolic, 2035 East Fourth St.

Partners and supporters of RTA’s Downtown Trolleys will be on hand. Each new trolley is 35 feet long, and can accommodate more customers than the current 30-foot trolleys. Trolleys now in use will celebrate their 10th anniversary in April, and may be retired after the convention.
