CLEVELAND -- The Greater Cleveland Regional Transit Authority (RTA) supports Northeast Ohio residents who want to 'Dump the Pump' as a national day of transit on June 19. Look for RTA team members at Walnut Wednesday on June 18 with an incentive to ride.
In this ninth annual event, people around the United States try to make their commute more sustainable by riding the bus or taking a train. Clevelanders can hop on one of the 60 bus routes or three Rapid routes, and save time, gas and parking fees, all for the good of your wallet & the environment.
If you choose to 'Dump the Pump,' take a picture or video and tweet it to @GCRTA #dumpthepump or post it on Facebook/rideRTA for a chance to win prizes for the most creative post.
With gas prices back up to almost $4 a gallon, now is a great time to check out what RTA has to offer to get you where you want to go.
