The Greater Cleveland Regional Transit Authority (GCRTA) is hosting a career fair for prospective bus operators and mechanics on Saturday, September 14, 2024, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Cuyahoga Community College (Tri-C) Metro Campus Center (Room 201) at 2900 Community College Avenue, Cleveland, Ohio 44115.
This is a great opportunity to receive firsthand knowledge of bus operator and mechanic career opportunities available at GCRTA.
GCRTA offers:
• Starting wage of $26.48 an hour for Operators after successful completion of training
• Starting wage of $26.45 an hour for Mechanics after successful completion of training

On-site interviews will be offered at the job fair for interested applicants. GCRTA Human Resources representatives will be on-hand to answer questions and guide individuals throughout the event.
Applicants seeking employment as a GCRTA bus operator need to be at least 19 years of age and possess a valid Ohio Driver’s License, and mechanics at the age of 18 years of age.
