Due to the Rock 'n' Roll Half Marathon, the #51: W. 25 - Pearl will be rerouted on Saturday and Sunday, October 5 - 6 during the following times:
Beginning Saturday, October 5, 2013, 6:00am, Public Square, Ontario and Superior will be closed for setup.
During that time, the following reroute will be in effect:
Northbound: Regular route to Ontario - Huron, left on Huron, continue W 9, right on St. Clair, right on W 6 to layover.
Southbound: From layover, continue W 6 - West Prospect, right on Ontario returning to regular route.
On Sunday, October 6, 2013, 7:00am - 2:00pm, many major streets will be closed and will cause traffic delays as well as service interruptions including some areas unable to be serviced by transit during the race.
During that time, the following reroute will be in effect:
Northbound: Regular route to W 25 - Clark, left on Clark, right on W 41, right onto I-90 EB entrance, continue I-90/I-490 to I-77 North, exit I-77 North to E 14 exit, continue E 14 to Prospect, left on Prospect, left on Ontario to layover.
Southbound: From layover, continue Ontario, left on Huron, right on Prospect, right on E 14 to Broadway, follow Broadway, E 34 to enter I-490 West, I-90 exit at W 44, left on W 44, left on Clark, right on W 25 returning to regular route.
On Sunday, October 6, 2013, 2:00pm - approximately 4:00pm, some major roads will be reopened and a different set of reroutes will then be used during this time.
During that time, the following reroute will be in effect:
Northbound: Regular route to Ontario - Huron, left on Huron, continue W 9, right on St. Clair, right on W 6 to layover.
Southbound: From layover, continue W 6 - West Prospect, right on Ontario returning to regular route.
