Attention public transit lovers, history enthusiasts, and music fans! The 2023 BorderLight Fringe Festival includes many shows, musical and cultural performances, including Public Fransit. BorderLight’s mission is to present innovative theatre that inspires, builds cross-cultural understanding, and celebrates the diversity of the human experience. Public transportation has been a cornerstone of many in the City of Cleveland, playing a vital role in connecting people and as a socio-economic driver to employment. But few people know the fascinating history behind this important means of transport - until now! The Frans, a unique public transit-themed rock band, is set to take audiences on an educational and entertaining journey through time with the short play Public Fransit. This theatrical experience is sure to be an enlightening and entertaining way to discover the history of public transportation and its importance to our community.
The play premieres on the weekend of August 4 & August 5. Public Fransit will have multiple shows.

• Saturday 8/5 @ 6:30PM
The FREE short play is created through a partnership with GCRTA and Cleveland Public Library. The play will occur at Playhouse Square, US Bank Plaza.
