Holiday Bus Request

GCRTA accepts requests for holiday bus appearances at free, public events located within Cuyahoga County and that occur between mid-November and December 22. The bus will remain stationary (parked in one location) during its visit. Event attendees may walk through the parked bus, but rides will not be provided. Notification of selection will occur in October.

Where will the bus park during the event?

RTA prefers to park the bus on the street adjacent to the event in an area where it will not obstruct traffic or pedestrians or bus service.
We need a 100-ft. long zone to be cleared of any parked or stopped vehicles until the bus has arrived and parked.
Using orange traffic cones to designate area is recommended.
RTA will consider driving the bus into a parking lot or other off-street location but only if the location allows the driver to arrive, park, and depart without using reverse gear.
