Welcome to Cleveland

Need directions? Some tips:

  • Lake Erie is always north.
  • Addresses and numbered east-west streets start at Zero on Public Square. So, 901 Euclid Ave. is at East 9th Street and Euclid Avenue.
  • If you get confused, just look for signage with the National Senior Games logo, or ask. We are known for our Midwest hospitality.
  • If you’d rather walk, the Convention Center and Global Center for Health Innovation are only a few minutes from Public Square. Enjoy our beautiful city.

While you are here…

Take some time to relax. You can ride RTA to nearly all the great sights Greater Cleveland has to offer.

Headed for the North Coast?

The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame & Museum is a unique, world-class attraction. Next door, the Great Lakes Science Center will entertain and educate at the same time.

From Tower City, ride the Waterfront Line to the North Coast Station, and walk a few blocks.

Want some culture?

Nightlife abounds at PlayhouseSquare, East 15th Street and Euclid Avenue. Continue farther down Euclid Avenue, to East 110th Street, and find University Circle, a collection of world-class museums.

Both sites are accessible via the HealthLine.

What’s for dinner?

Visit the historic West Side Market in Ohio City on Wednesday, Friday and Saturday (day hours only). From Public Square, pick up any westbound bus on these routes – 20, 21, 22, 35, 45-45A, and 79A-B.

Staying downtown?

Just ride any trolley or HealthLine to the East Fourth Street entertainment area. Or, walk or ride a trolley to the Historic Warehouse District, just a few blocks northwest of Public Square.

Stay and play?

Progressive Field is home to our Indians. Ride the HealthLine or any trolley to Public Square, and walk a few blocks south on Ontario Street. Or ride any Rapid line to Tower City, and take the Walkway.

After the ballgame, try your luck at the Horseshoe Casino. Any trolley or HealthLine will take you there.

RTA pass activitation:

Activate your four-day RTA pass once. On the HealthLine and Red Line, look for the small red machines at the station. Insert your pass, and you are ready to go. Or, just tell your bus driver, "I need to activate my pass," and they'll show you how easy it is. If you are riding a trolley, it's always free.
