The Greater Cleveland Regional Transit Authority (GCRTA) is excited to announce the celebration of its 50th Anniversary, marking five decades of providing reliable transportation services to Cleveland and its surrounding suburbs.

On Friday, November 8, 2024, Ohio Governor Mike DeWine, and Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT) Director Pamela Boratyn announced the award of $800,000 in grant funds to the Greater Cleveland Regional Transit Authority (GCRTA) as part of the Ohio Workforce Mobility Partnership Program.

The Cleveland Guardians are playing in the American League Championship Series (ALCS) and the Greater Cleveland Regional Transit Authority (GCRTA) offers an affordable, accessible, and direct transportation option to all the home playoff games. 

Cleveland VOTES, Greater Cleveland Regional Transit Authority (GCRTA) and the Cleveland Foundation today announced that all customers can ride free on GCRTA buses, rail and paratransit on Election Day – Tuesday, November 5.
