Take GCRTA To Exciting Cleveland Guardians Postseason Play

Oct 3, 2024

The Cleveland Guardians are playing in the American League Divisional Series (ALDS) starting on Saturday, October 5, 2024, and the Greater Cleveland Regional Transit Authority (GCRTA) offers an affordable, accessible, and direct transportation option to all the home playoff games.

For $5, you can take GCRTA all-day and enjoy the excitement of playoff baseball in downtown Cleveland. Let us do the driving for you. The Guardians playoff games are expected to draw thousands of people downtown, so please plan ahead, leave early, and allow yourself plenty of time to arrive safely.

Also, by riding GCRTA you’ll avoid downtown traffic, expensive parking fees, and long walks to Progressive Field.

Some helpful tips to remember:

  • One-way fares ($2.50) or All-day passes ($5.00) are available on the Transit App with EZfare or at station Ticket Vending Machines. NOTE: When purchasing on EZfare please make sure you select RTA.
  • Ride the train to the Tower City Station and take the Walkway to Rocket Mortgage Fieldhouse. From there, it’s a short walk outside to Progressive Field. The Walkway will open four hours prior to game one of the ALDS.

Please visit www.riderta.com to plan your trip or for details on routes and scheduled departure times and check the RTA Transit App for real-time arrivals.  If you haven’t already, downloading the RTA Transit App is easy, just go to www.transitapp.com and download to your Apple or Android device.

Note: ALDS home game two is scheduled for Monday, October 7, and if necessary, ALDS home game three is scheduled for Saturday, October 12, 2024.

GO GUARDIANS!
