The Greater Cleveland Regional Transit Authority (GCRTA) is the efficient choice to get you to and from the parade. 

For $5, you can ride RTA to and from the parade downtown. The 2025 St. Patrick’s Day parade is expected to draw thousands of people into the central business district, and RTA is preparing for additional customers with extra capacity on the rail service to ensure a safe and reliable experience for all. 

Tower City Westbound Service Track Adjustments - Red, Blue, and Green Line riders heading westbound will utilize the Track 7 platform at Tower City Station. The elevator and stairway leading to Track 7 can be found on the Public Square Level (M2) of Tower City Center. 

Here are some helpful travel tips for a safe and pleasurable riding experience:

  • Contactless Payment. Have your credit or debit card ready for the payment reader to purchase your $5 all-day pass. Keep this pass safe, as you will need to show it on your return trip.
    - $5 All-Day passes are available by contactless payment or Google Pay at the following rail stations only: Brookpark, Puritas, Triskett, West Blvd-Cudell, and Tower City (Red, Blue and Green Lines) 
    - One-way fares ($2.50) and All-Day passes ($5.00) are available at a Ticket Vending Machine or on the Transit App with EZfare 
    - Note: When purchasing on EZfare please make sure you select RTA.
  • Plan ahead & leave early . Large crowds are expected so give yourself plenty of time to arrive safely. https://www.riderta.com/stpats
  • Ride the Rapid. Trains will leave as scheduled throughout the day. Check rideRTA.com for departure times, and RTA Transit app for real-time arrivals. Parking is free at all stations.
  • Ride the HealthLine. Board the HealthLine at the Stokes Windermere Station and ride from East Cleveland to Downtown Public Square.
