CLEVELAND, OH – The Greater Cleveland Regional Transit Authority (GCRTA) rolls out its Month of Merry county-wide holiday campaign starting on Saturday, November 18, 2023, with festively-decorated vehicles and a weekly Instagram giveaway that runs through December 29, 2023.
Once again, GCRTA’s decorated Holiday Trains will serve the Red, Blue and Green Lines, and our Holiday Trolley will be sleighing through the Greater Cleveland area. We will promote the holiday trains schedule @GCRTA (Twitter/X), so riders know when to look for the decorated trains. The Holiday Trains are scheduled to go into service after Thanksgiving Day.
Come visit us at the Crocker Park Tree Lighting event on Saturday, November 18, 2023, from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., where RTA’s Holiday Trolley will be part of the festivities. And then again during the WinterLand Tree Lighting in Downtown Cleveland Public Square between noon and 6:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 25, 2023. Immerse yourself in holiday cheer, take photos and share your cherished Trolley moments using #GCRTAHoliday.
Visit www.rideRTA.com/merry to see the Holiday Trolley schedule and learn how to win gift cards to local vendors, restaurants, and venues. Participants are asked to follow @greaterclevelandtransit on Instagram for a chance to win a prize. Pictures of RTA’s holiday trains and trolley can be seen at #GCRTAHoliday.
"The Month of Merry promotion is our contribution to help add some cheer to the holidays," said GCRTA Director of Marketing, Sharon Jenkins. "It’s our way of saying ‘thank you’ to our employees, customers, and this generous community."
